To set up and view energy consumption monitoring. Following the steps below.
1) Navigate to the device settings on your iotty app by selecting the blue (three stacked lines with circle) button on the left at the bottom right of the Rooms screen
2) Select the background (not the lightbulb) of the iotty device you would like to set up energy monitoring
3a) This brings you to the device's settings, Under 'Power (W)' enter the electrical consumption (Watts) per hr for the device/fixture controlled by your iotty Smart Switch.
3b) Then you can navigate down, and under 'Energy cost (USD/kwh)' enter the electricity cost in your area [average rate] contact your local utility service or visit their online site for energy cost.
4) You can now view the statistics for that switch plate by selecting 'Statistics' on the device's settings!
